Quick answers to the questions resellers ask most.
When I set a rate, do I enter the total or just my markup?
Just your fee — the markup you add on top of your cost. So if your cost is 12.5% and you want to make 5%, enter 5. Your merchant is charged your cost plus your fee, which the screen shows live as “merchant pays”. See Pricing.
Why are my Customers, Transactions and Balances pages empty?
Because you don't take payments directly — your sub-merchants do. Everything for you lives in the Reseller section of your sidebar, not the normal merchant pages.
How long does merchant approval take?
It's a quick manual review on our side. You can add the merchant and create a test key right away; the live key unlocks once they're approved.
Can I charge different merchants different rates?
Yes — and a different rate per payment type. Set whatever fits each merchant, and change it any time from Edit rates on their card.
Do my merchants’ customers see Vexutopia?
No. The checkout shows your brand, not ours. Your customers never see who's processing behind the scenes.
How do I get paid, and how do my merchants get paid?
We settle the full amount to you. You withdraw from your Balances page, then pay each merchant their share yourself — the Statement shows exactly what each one is owed and what you keep.
I lost an API key — what now?
Generate a new one from the merchant's Sites & keys. Keys are shown once for security, so there's no way to see an old one again. You can keep more than one key per merchant.
Something isn’t working or a payment method is missing.
Send us the details and we'll sort it. A missing payment method usually just needs to be switched on for that merchant during review.
